12 New Oxide Colours - labels, blending foams and swatches complete!

12 New Oxide Colours - labels, blending foams and swatches complete!

I've just finished labelling my 12 new Oxide Colours. The new colours are gorgeous and I'm looking forward to trying out some new colour combinations! This set of 12 completes the full set of 60 now all available for ordering in my Kaszazz shop https://www.kaszazz.com/cart/default.aspx?ConsID=103333&code=5706. I always feel more creative once I've sorted out the labels etc. so I thought I would share my Distress Storage systems. You can download all the Oxide Colour Labels from the Rangerink website https://www.rangerink.com/pdf/organize/DistressOxideLabels_All.pdf  I print the labels out and then attach them to one of our Double Sided Sticker Sheets (https://www.kaszazz.com/cart/default.aspx?ConsID=103333&code=5706) You can then cut out the labels and attach them to the side of your inkpad. I then create a business card sized white swatch (9 x 5.5cm) for each colour and include a little blending, a little stamping and some water lift technique on each swatch. For the 12 pictured I used the new Distress Textures Set https://www.kaszazz.com/cart/default.aspx?ConsID=103333&code=6190Q from the newly released Distress Surfaces Collection.  I then store the swatches in Business Card Pocket Sleeves in an A4 3 ring folder. I also have a chart I print and laminate to store my Blending Foams on, which I also store in Plastic Sleeves in the same A4 folder as the swatches. When you are adding the foam to a blending tool, simply use a piece of paper or tissue to move tham as the Oxide Inks will remain on the foam for a long time.

TIP: The Swatches can be taken out of the pockets and placed next to each other when you are looking to see which colours work well together for your next project.
